PAROMA-MED at SCC 2025
From 10-13th March, the project PAROMA-MED showcased its platform and demonstrated its solutions via a booth at the 14th International ITG Conference on Systems, Communications and Coding (SCC), hosted at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Karlsruhe. SCC 2025 is organized by the Information Technology Society (ITG) of the Association for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies (VDE). SCC aims at bridging the gap between theory, applications and various communities in the field of communications.
This presented an important platform to exchange and engage with the young researchers, industry experts and academia. PAROMA-MED organized a booth and presented comprehensive demonstration of “functional GDPR”. This was demonstrated by presentation and videos available at: Project´s YouTube channel
The goal was to create awareness of citizens/data subjects about their fundamental rights on data privacy and control over their data and the ways these may be used. This engagement via the booth brought interesting discussions, on topics as transparency, privacy and modes of use of technical solutions. The delegates understood the importance of their personal data. This interaction was helpful to gather the likeliness of the stakeholders and their perspective will be included in the refining of the platform.
